Salvestrols Against Thyroid Cancer

In studies against thyroid cancer cell lines, salvestrol T31G and salvestrol Q40 were the most effective inhibitors found. These two compunds are included in the supplement Salvestrol Platinum. Salvestrol T31G was shown to inhibit cancer cell signal transduction and induce apoptosis. Salvestrol T31G may provide a new approach for the treatment of human anaplastic thyroid carcinoma for which no effective therapy is presently available.

Another study compared the effects of genistein, salvestrol T31G, salvestrol Q40, chrysin and other flavonoids on human thyroid carcinoma cell lines. Among the flavonoids tested, salvestrol T31G and salvestrol Q40 were shown to be the most potent inhibitors of these cancer cell lines. The scientists noted that because these thyroid cancer cells lacked an anti-estrogen receptor binding site and an estrogen receptor, that salvestrol T31G and salvestrol Q40 are inhibiting these cancer cells via mechanisms involving CYP1B1 bioactivation. CYP1B1 is highly overexressed in thyroid cancer cells and represents an attractive target for salvestrol therapy. Salvestrol T31G and salvestrol Q40 may represent a new class of therapeutic agents in the management of thyroid cancer.

Salvestrol Q40 inhibits the proliferation of tumor cells, as well as in vitro angiogenesis. Inhibition of extensive neovascularization can contribute to prevention of certain chronic diseases, including solid malignancies. Salvestrol Q40 shows strong antiproliferative activity against different human cancer cell lines, and in some hormone-dependent cancer lines such as breast, prostate, and thyroid cancer for instance.

Salvestrol Q40 inhibits many tyrosine kinases, enzymes that are involved in tumor cell proliferation and is further activated to the potent tyrosine kinase inhibitor salvestrol Q50 by the enzyme CYP1B1.

Salvestrol Platinum Dosage Guidelines

The following are the dosage guidelines for the use of Salvestrol Platinum 2000 in cancer therapy:


Cancer therapy: 3 capsules (6000 points) daily. (Taken as 1 capsule 3 times daily)

Advanced cancer: 6 capsules (12,000 points) daily. (Taken as 2 capsules 3 times daily)

If undergoing chemotherapy reduce dose to 1 capsule (2000 points) on the days receiving chemotherapy.

After remission a maintenance dose of 1 capsule (2000 points) daily is recommended to prevent recurrence.

Incurable Pancreatic Cancer Responds to Salvestrols

I had a positive result with my pancreatic cancer on just two Salvestrol platinum (4000 points) per day, took them for a month then added vitamin c, multi vitamin with magnesium and selenium as well as 1 capsule per day of an omega 6/omega 3 combination called eye q. Funny because after the MRI scan, the radiologist said the tumour had shrunk on my pancreas, the doctor said they don't shrink and since then it has been called a lesion, I don't give a stuff what they call it, I am alive and 9 months on feeling great. I still take the Salvestrol 1 per day and the other tablets, not taking any chances. Hope the above gives some help to anybody else going through the anguish and rubbish advice from some of the hopeless medical people who say this cancer is incurable.

Supporting Nutritional Program

The supporting nutritional program evolved over the above period of time (Nov. 2005 – July 2006).  Certain supplements such as salvestrols and IP6 had a prominent place right from the beginning; now that the cyst has resolved they continue to be taken as part of an ongoing maintenance schedule.  Other supplements were introduced at different times and were taken for varying periods and doses as the need indicated.  Thus, the profile went through a series of changes as items were added or dropped or their doses altered.  However, all the products taken had their part and each served a useful purpose during the healing process.  The following is a listing of the various supplements used at some point in the program.  Note that daily vit/min and other usual additions to the diet were also taken.  Colonics were a major help.
