Salvestrol Recipes - Artichoke & Broccoli

Artichokes and Broccoli are 2 of the top superfoods when it comes to salvestrol content.

Artichokes contain 5% dry weight of pure salvestrols and are the No1 food in this respect. The artichoke is one of the foods referred to by Hippocrates when he said "Let food be your medicine, and medicine be your food" so its medicinal properties have been known for centuries. Include artichokes as a pizza topping together with olives and capers. The artichoke is a large thistle head and belongs to the thistle family which includes other medicinal herbs that are rich in salvestrols such as burdock, milk thistle and blessed thistle. The thistles belong to an even larger plant family known as the compositae family which includes many common yellow flowered wild herbs such as dandelion and daisy. It also includes the sunflower and the jerusalem artichoke which has delicious edible roots that are naturally rich in salvestrols. Real Dandelion and Burdock root beer would make a real medicinal brew if it were only made with real dandelion and burdock roots. Burdock root forms part of the Essiac herbal mixture and is also present in the Hoxsey Remedy for cancer. So plants from the compositae family as a whole have had widespread historical use as medicinal herbs.

Broccoli is another cancer busting vegetable that can be used in juicing to get the maximum intake. When juicing a 1 kg portion will yield 100 salvestrol points. Broccoli are part of the cabbage family of cruciferous vegetables and all of this family have high salvestrol content. This family of vegetables includes cabbage broccoli savoy cabbage chinese leaf brussel sprouts and water cress.

5. ARTICHOKES IN DIPPING SAUCE

Rinse artichokes and cut 1 inch off the tops.

With scissors, trim off the thorny tips of the

remaining leaves. In a large saucepan, sauté

onion, garlic, mint and rosemary in oil. Add

lemon juice, vinegar, water and salt. Place

artichokes in seasoned broth; cover and

simmer until tender, about 40 minutes.

Allow to cool in the broth. To serve, place

each artichoke in a bowl with some of the

broth to use as a dipping sauce.

INGREDIENTS

4 medium artichokes

2 cloves garlic, minced

1/2 tsp. crumbled rosemary

2 Tbls. lemon juice

1/2 cup water

1 onion, chopped

2 Tbls. minced fresh mint

1/4 cup olive oil (stone ground)

1/2 cup cider vinegar

1/2 tsp. salt

6. BROCCOLI WITH GARLIC MAYONNAISE

Mix mayonnaise and garlic. Cover and

refrigerate about 2 hours. Cut broccoli

stalks lengthwise into thin spears. Place

streamer basket in 1/2-inch water in

saucepan or skillet (water should not touch

the bottom of basket). Place broccoli in

basket. Cover tightly and heat to boiling;

reduce heat. Steam until tender, about 15

minutes. Cover and refrigerate until chilled,

at least 2 hours. Sprinkle mayonnaise

mixture with paprika. Serve with broccoli.

INGREDIENTS

1/2 cup mayonnaise, or

1/2 cup salad dressing

2 medium garlic cloves,

crunched

1-1/2 lb. broccoli

Salvestrol Enhancing Supplements

The majority of supplements are completely safe to take with salvestrols. In fact there is only one real exception which is Laetrile (B17) which inhibits the CYP1B1 enzyme and prevents the salvestrols from working. So the only supplement that interferes with Salvestrols is Laetrile (B17). This is an extract from apple and apricot seeds and contains cyanohydrins. These break down in the liver to generate cyanide. The cyanide generated inhibits the CYP1B1 enzyme so that it cannot function. So in the prescence of Laetrile salvestrols cannot work properly, and this supplement is to be avoided when using salvestrol therapy.

All other supplements are compatible with salvestrols and some may enhance their action.

Some other supplements also contain salvestrols such as Essiac Flor-Essence (100 points).

Vitamin C & Salvestrols

Could the use of Vit. C IV`S be interfering with the efficacy of Salvestrol Therapy in that that the purpose as explained by my MD if for the Vit. C to form a collagen over/around the pc cells to stop them from spreading. Maybe the collagen gets inthe way ? My MD told me that Vit. C does not do a good job of killing pc cells but rather stops them from spreading. My MD is not overly concerned with my PSA score. He is supportive of my using the urine test utilized by the N a v v a r o Clinic. This could account for your observations re slow and fast responders as there must be other products such as resveratol and modified citrus pectin that reduce the efficacy of Salvestrol ?? I look forward to your thoughts.

Vitamin C does not interfere with salvestrol therapy. Indeed the two approaches are complimentary. The use of high dose vitamin C with salvestrols is being succesfully used in the Issels Clinic in California.

Many salvestrol supplements contain Vitamin C such as the salvestrol vegetarian capsules. Vitamin C is thought to help the activity of salvestrols and also acts as a preservative preventing the salvestrols from premature oxidation.

Salvestrols Beat Breast Cancer

Salvestrols work really well against breast cancer, probably due to the high expression of the salvestrol activase enzyme CYP1B1 in breast cancer cells. In practise there is a very high response rate when salvestrols are used to treat breast cancer. The typical response is cancer regression with tumours shrinking to half their size within 3 months of salvestrol supplementation at 3 capsules (6000 points) daily, and after 6 months are cancer free. In some cases ther is an even more rapid response within a month while other cases show that higher doses are needed. The highest dose needed to obtain a response is 6 capsules (12,000 points) daily.

There have been several cases reported recently to the salvestrol info team of responses at the dose of 12,000 points daily which seems to be the most effective dose so far used. In one case a lady had primary breast cancer that had spread to her brain and consequently she had lost her eyesight and was blind. Here is an example of a lady who had stage 3 breast cancer and recovered by taking salvestrols:

A 36-year-old woman was diagnosed with aggressive stage 3 breast cancer, following biopsies and blood tests. A 3-5 cm tumour was found under the right breast and a larger tumour was found in an underarm lymph node. The breast tumour looked the size of a golf ball on the image. She was told that her situation was really serious. After her first round of chemotherapy she learned about Salvestrols, and began taking one (2,000 point) Salvestrol Platinum capsule per day. Salvestrols - Nature's Defence Against Cancer

Salvestrols are a new class of natural compounds that have a pharmacological definition rather than a chemical definition. They are defined by the action of the metabolites produced when they are metabolised by the CYP1B1 enzyme in cancer cells. Salvestrol Recipes - Asparagus & Carrots

 

INGREDIENTS

2 doz. fresh, thin asparagus

spears

1 cup butter

2 fresh cloves garlic

2 tsp. lemon juice

1 tbsp. parsley

grated lemon rind

parsley sprigs

ORGANIC CARROTS & MINT

Wash organic carrots, but do not peel. Place in

a large skillet. Add boiling water, to partly

cover, and the salt and simmer, covered,

for 10 minutes or until carrots are

tender. Drain carrots and save water to make a gravy.
Melt butter in a large

skillet. Add mint, and carrots.

Cook over low heat, turning carrots

frequently, until they are nicely glazed. Turn

into a serving dish. Garnish with mint sprigs,

if desired. Serves 8.

Asparagus is one of the top foods for salvestrol content. These are the sprouting spears of the asparagus plant and are naturally rich in salvestrols. Asparagus can be used as part of the Gerson Diet and has been shown to be effective against prostate cancer.

My mother introduced me to her friend, an 81-year old lady who had been diagnosed with Chronic Lymphocytic Leukaemia. When I met her she had a large 3 cm tumour in the lymph glands of her neck and was finding eating difficult. She was also having trouble sleeping due to swelling and tenderness of the lymph glands under the arms and in the groin. She did not look at all well and had an ashen complexion. Liver Cancer Cured With Salvestrols

A 73-year-old man was diag­nosed with second-stage liver cancer follow­ing a scheduled examination to monitor liver cirrhosis. The patient had lost a lot of weight.

A CT

scan revealed three tumours; one in the centre of the liver in damaged tis­sue and two in healthy portions of his liver. No chemotherapy or radiotherapy treatment was prescribed due to the patient’s age and the number of liver tumours. One month following his diagnosis he began taking 2 (2000 point) Salvestrol Platinum supplements per day. This level of Salvestrol supplementation (4,000 points per day) was maintained for 12 months. In addition he began a program of breathing exercises, chi exercises, meditation, stretching and stress avoidance. A 94-year-old woman was diagnosed with stage 4 melanoma following a biopsy and this was badly affecting her foot. At the time of diagnosis she was unable to walk and black spots had appeared on her body. The melanoma was deemed to be inoperable. The surgeon and the patient's family agreed that the patient was unlikely to survive the treatment options of skin grafting, amputation and radiation. The family asked for alternative procedures and were told there were none. The patient was given a life expectancy of just two weeks and returned to her nursing home. The family was advised that if she lived longer than the two weeks she would require morphine to control the pain. The family did the research and started her on a regimen of using Salvestrol cream for her melanoma together with supplements. Salvestrol Activase Enzyme Crystallised

There are 3 important CYP enzymes in the human body responsible for salvestrol metabolism which are CYP1A1, CYP1A2, and CYP1B1. The first two are alpha salvestrol activases which hydroxlate the A-ring, whilst CYP1B1 is a beta salvestrol activase that uniquely hydroxylates the B-ring.

CYP1A2 is expressed in the liver that catalyses the first step of dietary salvestrol activation converting salvestrol T30 to salvestrol Q40, whereas CYP1B1 is expressed in the cancer cells and is responsible for the bioactivation of salvestrol Q40 to the ultimate anticancer metabolite M50. So the activation of salvestrols is a two-step process involving a first activation step in the liver followed by a second activation step within the tumour cells and the two enzymes are co-operating in this process.

The 3 dimensional structure of the enzyme CYP1A2 has finally been solved using X-ray crystal diffraction analysis. Note the complexity of the structure which reveals the marvelous design present in mother nature at the molecular level. There are 12 alpha helices all connected and folded up so as to form an inner cavity that selectively binds a salvestrol molecule in the correct orientation to be hydroxlated by the reactive haeme bound iron oxide at its centre. Two of the alpha helices loop back to form a hinged lid which opens and closes through the catalytic cycle and the whole enzyme performs as an esquisite molecular machine.

This enzyme has evolved over tens of millions of years to allow the human body to selectively bind and metabolise salvestrols, and this shows how important this process must be to human health by eliminating cancer cells from the body.

Salvestrols Against Thyroid Cancer

In studies against thyroid cancer cell lines, salvestrol T31G and salvestrol Q40 were the most effective inhibitors found. These two compunds are included in the supplement Salvestrol Platinum. Salvestrol T31G was shown to inhibit cancer cell signal transduction and induce apoptosis. Salvestrol T31G may provide a new approach for the treatment of human anaplastic thyroid carcinoma for which no effective therapy is presently available.

Another study compared the effects of genistein, salvestrol T31G, salvestrol Q40, chrysin and other flavonoids on human thyroid carcinoma cell lines. Among the flavonoids tested, salvestrol T31G and salvestrol Q40 were shown to be the most potent inhibitors of these cancer cell lines. The scientists noted that because these thyroid cancer cells lacked an anti-estrogen receptor binding site and an estrogen receptor, that salvestrol T31G and salvestrol Q40 are inhibiting these cancer cells via mechanisms involving CYP1B1 bioactivation. CYP1B1 is highly overexressed in thyroid cancer cells and represents an attractive target for salvestrol therapy. Salvestrol T31G and salvestrol Q40 may represent a new class of therapeutic agents in the management of thyroid cancer.

Salvestrol Q40 inhibits the proliferation of tumor cells, as well as in vitro angiogenesis. Inhibition of extensive neovascularization can contribute to prevention of certain chronic diseases, including solid malignancies. Salvestrol Q40 shows strong antiproliferative activity against different human cancer cell lines, and in some hormone-dependent cancer lines such as breast, prostate, and thyroid cancer for instance.

Salvestrol Q40 inhibits many tyrosine kinases, enzymes that are involved in tumor cell proliferation and is further activated to the potent tyrosine kinase inhibitor salvestrol Q50 by the enzyme CYP1B1.

Incurable Pancreatic Cancer Responds to Salvestrols

I had a positive result with my pancreatic cancer on just two Salvestrol platinum (4000 points) per day, took them for a month then added vitamin c, multi vitamin with magnesium and selenium as well as 1 capsule per day of an omega 6/omega 3 combination called eye q. Funny because after the MRI scan, the radiologist said the tumour had shrunk on my pancreas, the doctor said they don't shrink and since then it has been called a lesion, I don't give a stuff what they call it, I am alive and 9 months on feeling great. I still take the Salvestrol 1 per day and the other tablets, not taking any chances. Hope the above gives some help to anybody else going through the anguish and rubbish advice from some of the hopeless medical people who say this cancer is incurable.

I am 56 years old and postmenopausal.  In the fall of 2005, I experienced excruciating episodes of pain in the area of my left ovary.  An ultrasound in November revealed a complex cyst obscuring my ovary about the size of a medium grapefruit.  My Ca 125 was elevated to 68 (0-35 is normal).  My medical doctor said the likelihood was very high it was canerous and recommended immediate surgery.  My gynecologist (a surgeon) agreed that a surgical appointment was needed urgently.  After careful consideration and prayer I decided that, however much time was left to me, I did not want to “go out in pieces” with surgery.  So, I embarked on an intensive alternative program (of which the centerpieces were the natural substances IP-6 and salvestrol) with periodic ultrasounds and blood work to monitor my progress.  In January 2006, my CA 125 had dropped to 39 and the volume of the cyst had decreased by 57%.  In April, the CA 125 was 14 and there had been a 93% drop in volume of the cyst.  Finally, on July 5th, the ultrasound report said the cyst had been “resolved”.  No sign of it could be found.  (The technicians were so astounded they repeated the exam, just to make sure there were no mistakes.)  I feel that a death sentence has been lifted from me.  My energy, colour and feeling of wellness has completely returned and I am profoundly grateful for the gift of life.  The following will provide more information on the lab analyses and nutritional program.

Supporting Nutritional Program

The supporting nutritional program evolved over the above period of time (Nov. 2005 – July 2006).  Certain supplements such as salvestrols and IP6 had a prominent place right from the beginning; now that the cyst has resolved they continue to be taken as part of an ongoing maintenance schedule.  Other supplements were introduced at different times and were taken for varying periods and doses as the need indicated.  Thus, the profile went through a series of changes as items were added or dropped or their doses altered.  However, all the products taken had their part and each served a useful purpose during the healing process.  The following is a listing of the various supplements used at some point in the program.  Note that daily vit/min and other usual additions to the diet were also taken.  Colonics were a major help.

IP-6:  Centerpiece of program to normalize cells.  40 capsules per day taken for 6 months.  24 caps per day continuing.

Cancer Drug Discovery Laboratory

The Cancer Drug Discovery Group comprises three laboratories based in the Hawthorn building at De Montfort University School of Pharmacy in Leicester, England. Drug synthesis and drug formulation work is carried out in the Medicinal Chemistry laboratory, biological testing is carried out in the tissue culture labs, and drug metabolism is carried out in the adjoining analytical laboratory pictured above. The group is fully equiped for all stages of drug development from discovery to formulation. Pictured above is the LC-MS instrument in the analytical laboratory used for discovering the metabolic pathways of salvestrols, showing an HPLC machine interfaced to a quadrupole mass spectrometer fitted with a spin trap detector. The salvestrol bioactivation work is done by incubating the salvestrols with CYP enzymes and identifying the anticancer meatbolites formed using the LC-MS technology. This laboratory is where the initial discovery of resveratrol acting as a salvestrol was made, and this then led to the discovery of much more potent salvestrols such as salvestrol Q40.
